All things seek balance, start today!

All things in the universe seek balance, from sub-atomic particles (building blocks of the universe) to each of us. Many ancient Eastern philosophies address our need for balance as demonstrated by the well known "Yin and Yang." A balance between the mind, body and its relationship within the universe can lead to great happiness and peace.

When we speak of positive and negative energy in our quest for balance, we are generally talking about the emotional interpretation of this energy. We know from scientific studies that excess stress may cause diseases in our life. Intense emotion and stress are the expression of excess or unbalanced energy within the body. They are precursors to physical ailments and diseases. Good health and well being comes from our ability to center and ground our energy and balance it in harmony within ourselves and the world.

What is Grounding?

Grounding is being firmly planted on the earth. It is a connectedness that gives us the stability to move about freely. Grounding opens the body and mind to the free movement of energy and the release of any excess. Blocking the flow of energy to any area of our body or mind will create havoc on a body designed by the universe to be in perfect balance. Coaching can help you to find the tools necessary to work with the principals of Grounding. It is very difficult to be Centered, without being Grounded.

What is Centering?

It is a point of stillness where the mind and body are one. There are no thoughts of the future or past, but only the present moment. Our bodies live in the present moment while our minds live in many dimensions of thought; the past, concerns for the future, sensing the environment, sleeping and dreaming are all but a few places the mind might be at any moment in time. Centering is a way to connect the mind and body in the present moment. Living in the moment is also called mindfulness. This is a state of focused, active, open, intentional attention on the present while being fully engaged with ourselves and the world around us. There are many studies that have found that mindful people are happier, healthier and more secure individuals.

Balance comes when we allow all the integral parts of our being to integrate freely with the world. Each aspect of our life is in harmony with all aspects of universe. This gives a feeling of being one with the universe. When we are balanced, we feel a sense of peace, confidence and joy.
